Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.

Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

The first movie was just awful but one year later the makers came back with a more polished effort in part 2 (the saying "you can polish a turd but it's still a turd" springs to mind!). Probably less plot here, more focus on action. And there's plenty of that. They have upped the gore & to be fair, given the micro budget, they have done a reasonable job. Lighting & production values are improved, sadly the acting hasn't. We still get gratuitous shower scenes but here, be warned, we get a guy playing with erect penis!

About the worst movie in distribution right now! I love zombie movies and saw this in the used rack so I thought why not? Oh my god a shame to zombie movies and fans to the genre! Whoever made this movie needs to put away your camcorder and go to film school! There are so many gore hounds out there who have put time and effort into their films and they have something that this film doesn't dignity. I know it what it takes to make films and I'm sure there was a lot of money and time spent in making Meat Market but none of that money and time went in to making it good. You need actors, a script, a real camera, invest in some books on how to make independent films. I don't know how you got a DVD release but whoever did that is either a really good friend or banging their head on the wall. In gore films it is quality not quantity, the effects are weak! I was so angry that this is actually in stores and that I couldn't get my money back. Please if you have seen this film write here and put an end to shlock. I know I'm being very harsh, I only had 10 lines so I'm trying to get to the point.

A well crafted sequel to the original hit "Meat Market" Contains many of the same themes and metaphors the first one had, and utilized to the skill and mastery of a surgeon in heat. (Globalization, Environmentalism, Zombie-face-sucking-gut-bustin-a-fication, and womanization). The second surpasses the first in the amount of hidden subtext only inversely proportional to the decrease in the amount of time given to introspection."Meat Market 2" will stand out as a true film-fan's film, and will endure the test of time as, the movie itself is practically ageless. Themes, settings, characters have a glow that only a well crafted movie can have; time less characters such as "Diablo Azul" and my particular fave "Cult Compound Guard" (played to masterful perfection by http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1385071/ ).No movie before or since has or will ever be called a classic again until reaching the heights this movie has set. So high is that bar, only the tallest of directors could possibly dare touch it. Look out Shaquille O'Neil, It's MEAT MARKET 2!!

More than a year has passed since "Meat Market". The zombies have grown in number since we last saw the gang. The plot is not TOO shabby, yet it seems to take a secondary place to the gore. Blood, brains, maggots & grue are the order of the day in the low-budget splatter fast. And I for one am more then fine with that.My Grade: 3 and 1/2 out of 4 bloody machetesDVD Extras: 2 commentaries (Director & "bad guy"), Behind the scenes (about 18 minutes), trailers for this film as well as Binge & Purge, an interactive game (win and get 19 minutes of footage of "El Diablo Azul" acting like a third-rate "Triumph, the insult comic dog" at what looks like possibly the worst comic-con that I have EVER seen) , and still gallery
