Titreenp SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
Brightlyme i know i wasted 90 mins of my life.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
jts1412 I actually watched a few seasons of the TV show before finding the movie. I'm glad the TV show changed some things ,especially concerning Tess and Jack's demise. The TV show is one of the greatest. I became obsessed waiting for my Netflix delivery. I just finished the series and wish it had gone on longer. Try to watch before the series, but it doesn't really spoil anything if you don't because it sets up the future TV shows. Pretty good acting and scenery. We love Brit shows and Australian ones compare equally. Tough independent women are featured. The US only portrays women as always beautifully coiffed. These women are tough and aren't afraid to break a nail or go w/o makeup. They work as hard as any men. Lots of trial and error, but usually end up winning. Watch this then get the entire eight seasons of the TV show. I think you'll love it.
arizzle_baby well. lately I've discovered that i have an obsession with McLeod's daughters . it is the best pro-gramme EVER And i cannot believe its already been the final episode, my favorite character was DEFFINTILY Grace she made me cry SO much. I'm young but since grace(Abi Tucker) came into the show, i REALLY want to met her, and would do anything to get the chance. McLeod's has made an impact on my life, just listening to the quotes that are said etc, if Grace ever reads this , which i doubt . she should no that she is a awesome actress, and i would love to have the chance to meet her, also in the final episode how Marcus and Ingrid got together, that was a HUGE Mstake Grace and Marcus should have been the couple !! i love McLeod's daughters and would do anything to get the chance to talk to grace Stevie or Marcus. ANYTHING. I hope they read this . the makers have done such a awesome job and they shouldn't have made it end . it was awesome. i live in new Zealand, the wiararapa and go to kuranui college only as a year 10 . and i really want to meet all of the crew. love you . xx ox
mcgyver212 As stated in the summary, be careful when you choose to watch this movie.I have been a HUGE fan of the television series and have fully enjoyed getting wrapped up in each character. However in this t.v. movie it is completely backwards from the regular show.Have you ever read a book first and then watched the movie, and it was always worse because they missed your favorite parts, or decided to depict different parts of the story line. This is exactly what happened when I saw this movie.Tess has come back to get to know her sister, she is the reason for Jack's death and sticks around to help Drovers get back on it's feet. It is Tess that is the strong one and trying to make things right, where as the television show has Claire as the strong one. It is also Jack McLeods death that bring Tess back to Drovers to collect her inheritance. Tess is the typical city girl that mucks things up.This being said, I tried to watch it on it's own merit. It was well acted and a pretty good story line, but I still found myself struggling with which was Tess and which was Claire..even down to their hair color.Take this for what it is worth...someone who watched the t.v. movie after watching five full seasons.Good stuff though...enjoy.
