Following the death of his wife and daughter in a tragic accident, a young widower (James) struggles to raise his son in the presence of a sinister paranormal force, now inhabiting their house. After he's wrongfully arrested for a mysterious murder, James reluctantly accepts the help of his estranged, ex-con brother-in-law to get his son back, and fight the evil that targets them.
