6 Years in Love is a movie about a couple that has been together for six years and how their love life has been tested with the many incidents that have occurred in both Da Jin and Jae Young life and their relationship with each other. Six years into their relationship, Da Jin and Jae Young are practically living together as they each have their own place right next door to one another. A successful editor of a large publishing company, Da Jin is enjoying a lucrative career. Always attracting people with his irresistible charm, home-shopping network producer Jae Young is also at the top of his game. Blissfully unaware of the dangers of taking each other for granted, Da Jin and Jae Young simply go about their normal routines, but it slowly dawns on them that their love has become too complacent. With temptations lurking around every corner, they soon realize that their fairy tale is falling apart. Facing a turning point in their six-year relationship, Da Jin and Jae Young begin to wonder if their love will be tough enough to weather out the storm.Keeping passion and intimacy alive in a long-term relationship is a challenge for most couples. Korea's darling of romantic comedy Kim Ha Neul and singer-turned-actor Yoon Kye Sang who recently completed his military duty play a longtime couple whose relationship has started to go stale in Lovers of Six Years. In her first feature film, director Park Hyun Jin presents a witty heartwarming romantic comedy filled with saucy dialogue that explores the vagaries of passion in a long-term relationship, and offers a few pointers to set romance back on the right track. Playing the devils are Shin Sung Rok and former Miss Korea-turned- actress Cha Hyun Jun who expel their deadly charms on the couple, causing a major stir in their relationship. Tackling on the many blunders and slumps of love, Lovers of Six Years reveals the truth about what it takes to sustain a good long-lasting relationship.6 Years in Love is a movie about a couple that has been together for six years and how their love life has been tested with the many incidents that have occurred in both Da Jin and Jae Young's life and their relationship with each other. Also,it also has shown how their complacency and lack of passion after being in a long-term relationship affects their treatment towards each other especially after both Da Jin and Jae Young meets other people that threatens their feelings towards each other. The story started slow but it was extra-ordinary after both lead characters started to experience conflict with each other. It gained interest when both separated from one another and spent time with another person. This has somehow gained some opportunity to examine how much they love each other and how much guilt they have experienced when they slept with another person aside from their partner. Finally, it ended on how both characters started to realize how much they missed one another when they are without each other and started their relationship in once again rather than expressing their hatred for one another forever. The acting was great as both lead characters Da Jin,played excellently by Kim Ha-Neul; and Jae-young, played marvelously by Yun Gye-Sang, are convincing in their portrayal as a couple who have been in love with one another for six years and whose passion for one another has somewhat dissipated after a long-term romance. This is a simple story but with an excellent message about how love should be expressed more often and how love with another should be worked hard upon to maintain passion with one another. Great film. Highly recommended.

I am not sure the male audience will like this movie, but girls of any age will definitely enjoy watching it.The story is centered around a couple that have been living together for so long, they treat each other like a family. Even though they still care about each other a great deal, the excitement in their relationship somewhat wore off and now they are looking for fun and understanding elsewhere. We watch the couple as they fight, say things they should not have said in the heat of the argument, cheat, get jealous, love, cry and eventually break up to go their separate ways.I think it is great that the movie ends on a positive note (MAJOR SPOILER ALERT) - in the very end they meet again and it looks like they might continue seeing each other after all. The ending is ambiguous yet it leaves a positive feeling.I would certainly recommend this movie to all those viewers that like romance and dramas.
