Gary The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

It's also a very German film, shot partly on location in a French Abbey, with American singers, Italian, French, and German singers, and a good deal of whimsy.If you like opera, or even if you don't, it's a terrific film.
