Love of My Loves Trailers

Two couples get to know what we all dream about: love at first sight. The problem is they meet it with different people to the ones they are engaged with, and they are just at seven days to get married. Up to that moment, they have to reconsider what’s love and what’s a habit, and to face them going against an idea with an expiration date: marriage. "Love of my loves" is based upon the successful mexican theatrical play "Un dos tres por mí y por todos mis amores", and explores compromise, doubts and commitment mixing drama and comedy.

Reviews
Develiker terrible... so disappointed.
DipitySkillful an ambitious but ultimately ineffective debut endeavor.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
ksf-2 Things are a little confusing at the beginning. We're in Mexico... we see one couple making plans to get married, and then we're in Madrid, where some chick hits a guy on a bike. There's a cute scene where the engaged couple has a cell phone conversation, and they are overlayed next to each other, so it looks like they are sitting together on the same bed. Turns out the bad driver hit a guy who is ALSO getting married. Lots of cute people "making the love". Consequences. Strange friendships. Everyone seems to go to their LGBT friends or bartenders for advice. A bank robbery changes all their lives. Good study of relationships, marriage, life paths. Another great film from Manolo Caro. A highlight is one of the characters making a doc about the definition of love.... some good responses! Really enjoyed this one. Should probably be required viewing for couples about to get married. Fun one. Subtitles. Good stuff. Showing on netflix. Why only 6.2 rating as of today ??
ilianag007 Some of the actors can really act such as Zurita who has improved his acting significantly. He obviously has the pressure since we will always compare his acting with his parents who are superb. The other girl who was dropped was pretty good. Of course the guy who plays both male and female, does an okay job. The other two guys are okay actors. Echeverria was just as usual, blah although she has improved in her acting. The plot is predictable to an extent. It gives a very small unexpected twist at the end but that's about it. The scenery I have to say it's really nice. The good rating is due to the music, great music, and very in accordance to the scenes. It is a great idea however to promote honesty. Many rather lie for the sake of compromise.
DhariaLezin From the very first "important" scene of the movie, you know exactly what is going to happen in the end. And it does. The characters (as usual, as I said and as I going to keep on saying except of those little worth surprises) are stupid as hell and shallow. Another huge problem that is present in Mexican movies, is that the writer is the same guy that is the director. Which is lame and a shame. I would suggest to all the directors to find someone great to write the script they have in mind, or to the writers to stick with writing and get someone to direct their films. It is not impossible, but it is really hard (specially with low budget) to make a movie worth to watch if they do both things. Things as how predictable the script is, the lack of psychology of the characters, the set mistakes, sequence mistakes and on and on, would be more avoidable if each one could focus in their own area. Seriously I don't understand why the characters always have to be selfish, stupid, and shallow. That is not the Mexican society. The idea had some kind of potential in the first two minutes, but then a totally surreal situation is what develops the story. The story itself starts after the main character hits a man with her car and it is a guy that is wearing a luchador mask (entirely ridiculous). After they talk he says that he is wearing the mask because he has dermatitis (and I have it as well) and it has nothing to do with the sun, same as no logic that if he has some kind of decease related to the sun, he would be completely outdoors wearing a mask! Not sunglasses, not a cap, not a hoodie, but a mask... a luchador mask. As ridiculous as it sounds but (again) the tone of the movie is not farcical, it is supposed to be a simple comedy. Then, as usual, the girl hates him at the beginning but you can see clearly where the movie goes (same old formula, and it seems they don't get tired of this)... and it does. I think I lost my time watching this.
