Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
BallWubba Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Brakathor This bizarre short came on as filler directly before the World Cup coverage began. I had no idea what to make of it at first. It consists of a group of people singing a song preaching the "benefits" of lobotomy, being led by a singing doctor. It's extremely kitchy and not really a cool subject to make fun of, but clearly it is ridiculing the practice itself. All I can say is it has a typical Canadian feel to it, which means it feels cheaply done and amateurish, though the mood it establishes of some bizarre futuristic society was rather interesting and well done, since I had no idea what I was watching and merely guessing. It succeeds in making lobotomy seem outlandish and insane to even consider by todays standards. Who knows what to expect from this young director in the future, but I smell short lived Canadian TV series if anything. Not a bad short. it simply is what it is; short, sweet, and superficial.
