Reviews
BroadcastChic Excellent, a Must See
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Stephanie There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
gazineo-1 Weak, overlong and monotonous movie about Lampião, a Brazilian outlaw who spreads fear and violence in rural hinterlands in the 20 and 30's. The movie is innacurated with historical aspects of this almost legendary history characther and although the good cast the result is boring and disappointing. See "O Cangaceiro" (1953) instead of this one.
