Reviews
GrimPrecise I'll tell you why so serious
Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
HottWwjdIam There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
Hulkeasexo it is the rare 'crazy' movie that actually has something to say.
biggerthanbenstiller Most of the big studio films out there try way to hard to go for the joke. These filmmakers actually put some thought behind the style of the humor. Yes there was a little too much bathroom humor for some people, but I strongly suggest that you rent this. I loved it. It reminded me a little of Bottle Rockets by Wes Anderson. There are too many movies that have the same five actors. It's nice to see some fresh faces. I wouldn't be surprised if these brothers become a powerful force within the industry. I look forward to more of your stuff guys! Keep it up! BenP.S. Really great commentary on the DVD.
roomsonfire What the heck is with the DVD market these days? It seems as if anybody can shoot a movie on video and get it released. This film(er, taped film) is another in the long list of titles flooding the market with zero quality. The kid from American Pie must be having career problems. Otherwise he would be appearing in real films instead of directing and producing his own home made production ala "L.A. D.J." Even worse, this kid must really have an ego, otherwise he would know better than to put his name on this piece of garbage. I mean, really. This thing is really a stinker bomb. It is not funny. It is ridiculous. Gee, how many times can the word "dude" or "bro" be used in 90 minutes? And is farting in somebody's face repeatedly funny? I'll admit, "Dude, where's my car" was funny. But at least that film combined the bathroom humor with at least some intelligence. No wonder this went straight to DVD. It should have stayed off the market. Period.
cptimbo You are not looking at the film from the right frame of mind. The reason your reactions are so strong are the same reasons why you should rent the movie again. You clearly don't get it. It's a different kind of film in a time when everything is special effects and vampires. This is the type of movie you have to read between the lines on. That's why I'm fairly certain the two negative comments below are part of a smear campaign. They are simply trying to stunt the growth of the film in the DVD market. It ain't gonna happen guys. I got news for you.... there are far too many people in our corner. I have received personal messages and witnessed peoples reactions in theaters and screenings all over the world. And yes, some people don;t get it. Because they are not dialing into the humor. Then there are other people who catch on and think it's the funniest movie they have seen in a long time. Well, please tell everyone you know how bad my movie is, because if you are what I think, then it won't matter because nobody will believe you anyway. Which that's precisely why you write anonymously over the internet. If you have any courage at all, send me an email @info@ladjthemovie.com. Sincerely,Tim Producer
mhealey24 Got a chance to see this flick at the Vail Film Fastival while I was in the States. Nearly fell off my chair a couple of times. The guy that played Kevin in the American Pie movies is in it. (Was he the guy from Rookie of the Year??). Damn funny stuff.Anyway... cool soundtrack, decent performances all round, great story line. It's actually a pretty original story, which is a nice change from the usual re-hash movies we get these days. It's really weird that a bigger studio didn't pick it up.Go see it as soon as possible.
