Reviews
Cebalord Very best movie i ever watch
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Isbel A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
RavenGlamDVDCollector Katy Perry is transformed from little wallflower in the shadow of her overbearing husband to Queen of the Jungle in this delightful jungle epic shot in 2013 for her song ROAR. After the tiger gets rid of the domineering male influence, she scampers off into the jungle, with torn clothing, and has a confrontation with a crocodile's big jaws snapping shut as she tries sipping water from a pool. Things look hectic, especially with all those eyes peering out at her in the dark, but she manages to survive. She swings from jungle vines, befriends the animals, and must have conquered a leopard for she wears his skin. There is, of course, still the tiger...She starts off looking quite drab and uninspiring and then transforms into this super-confident soon-to-be jungle queen.Irresistibly cute and sure brought Katy Perry much recognition.
Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de) And the best is she does not even have to take part in "I am a Celebrity..." for that title. This is the music video for the singer's 2013 successful hit "Roar". It runs for 4.5 minutes and has Perry in a jungle-appropriate outfit while she meets all kinds of wild animals such as spider, tigers, elephants and many more. She wins a roaring contest against the tiger and that's why she is queen of the jungle now. The music video is okay all in all, it's nothing outstanding visually or story-wise, but it's not bad either. The song is pretty catchy as are most of Katy Perry's works. And of course, she looks again as hot as it gets. Early on, we see her boyfriend, but they could have left him out completely I guess, added nothing for me and I guess they picked an unknown actor, so he won't take away any attention from Perry. Still, she shines much brighter than him anyway. All in all, a good watch, a good listen and a solid overall result. Recommended.
