Gudiya gets married to Indian army officer, Aslam, but when he disappears and is declared a deserter she remarries; however, when he returns he demands the now-pregnant Gudiya returns to him and tries to use religious law to make it happen.

Very good movie overall, highly recommended. Most of the negative reviews don't have any merit and are all pollitically based. Give this movie a chance at least, and it might give you a different perspective.
