The film was still a fun one that will make you laugh and have you leaving the theater feeling like you just stole something valuable and got away with it.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

The movie starts with Raghu Dixit building up his musical crescendo which periodically blurts out the movie title and our desi chick(Ramya) turning around with graphical rose petals showering all around the screen and needless to say our protagonist(Sudeep) dancing and lip syncing to the tune. Then the audience is taken on a 2 hr flight to Singapore without any frisking/Visa/passport norms where Sid a.k.a Siddharth tells his story in flash backs. The director( Sudeep himself) has knitted the story using a tried/tested and clichéd formula but its unique presentation makes it a one time watch. Its like re-doing a power point presentation in office 2007 which was earlier done in office 2003( synonymous to old wine in a new bottle :-) ) . As the movie progresses, it is hit by turbulence in the form of slow pace. In these days where people can recall only 3 letters i.e I,P,L of English alphabet, the director makes you watch a test match where the ball doesn't even cross the 30 yard circle. Nevertheless the movie can be screened on special occasions like Valentines Day, "love failures" day, " divorced" day etc :-) Well, coming to the plot, its about a self proclaimed rock star and his search for lady damsel in Unique(ly) Singapore. Many things do happen in the gap between his rock star days and his search, but i am too lazy to write it or rather type it.. pls do watch Zee Kannada or Udaya TV in few weeks and watch it yourself :-) I will be doing injustice if I don't mention about the 2nd protagonist Raghu.. His contemporary music complements the narration and there is some freshness in the tune. The Kannada audience are so fed up of Sonu Nigams weeping voice and Mano Murthy's lifted tunes from 70's but Raghu brings a ray of hope to the sandalwood music industry by introducing fresh talents.. P.S : Sudeep's dialogue delivery through his eyes is worth applauding. Do watch it for his performance and his efforts to make original movies. :-)
