lokeshjain2008 I am still wonder why this movie wasn't block buster. This movie contains everything in it and each and every frame is just fabulous. I am not a big fan of Salman khan but in this movie he is also very good.I won't put any spoiler here. Music is far far better and the scenes included in are just beautiful. Story telling is very funny but still has a great impact on the viewers. There is no drag in the drama it just goes on and hits the right climax in the end. Just enjoy this movie as each scene comes to life and Anupam Kher as a comedian done a great job.

Maharishi verma Great ! This is a word to define this film.Everything in this film is awesome.Its been a long time since I watched this flick.Performances,of its lead cast,are solid.Songs were very appealing ,when being watched visually.The locations,camera work was up to the mark.(Read the plot on title page)Salman Khan's performance was very good, he handled emotional scenes very well.Akshay Kumar was show stealer.he had done his job very well.ditto for Priti Zinta.The real reason to like this movie was that it was not over-melodramatic, like other Bollywood romantic films.Jaan-e -Mann is not for masses,some of them cannot not relate with this film because of its theme and narrative. It's a movie made for class audience. That's why this movie was a flopped, but got critical acclaim.So,buy a DVD and feel the love.

Chrysanthepop Shirish Kunder's opens the film with a funny Filmfare Awards sequence but then the film moves on slow with screechingly bad comedic tracks by Anupam Kher and Salman Khan. Things gradually pick up when the Akshay Kumar-Preity Zinta track is 'developed'. Lavish non-Indian locations, slapstick, expensive designer costumes etc, 'Jaan-E-Mann' has got all the ingredients of a big budget masala film where the story is secondary. The script is full of flaws and the screenplay is a little messy but there are a few enjoyable sequences. The execution suffers mostly due to poor handling of certain scenes and plot lines. The songs are a mixture of good and bad. I liked the first song 'Humko Maloom Hai' and 'Ajnabee' (which is well shot). 'Kabool Karle' is a catchy number but the rest of the songs are awful. Salman Khan is irritating as usual. He's still stuck with the 'cool muscular guy' image he was once given in the 90s and in 'Jaan-E-Mann' he looks anything but cool. Preity Zinta doesn't get much scope. She is pretty much cast as the typical romantic heroine. The real star is Akshay Kumar. As the geeky and socially dysfunctional (only when it concerns women) astronaut who silently loves Piya and now sees a chance to win her back, he is superb. It's only a pity that by the end Kunder ruins the character by making Aghastya shallow. 'Jaan-E-Mann' does have its share of flaws and it is very long. I'm glad I didn't give it my full attention as I was working on an art project after slipping the movie into the machine.

bk_connection Yet again the Salman and Akshay magic has created a DHOOM again. This movie is so simple made and yet so stylish and "Hatke se". Iam not gonna write about the story, that U can read everywhere else or just see the movie.Salman Khan has done a brilliant job again, he his caring this movie on his wide shoulders and giving the movie a special look and touch with his comedy and emotional role. "Salman Bhai tusi Great Ho"Akshay Kumar, what can I say he is one of Bollywoods most talented actors and with his personality and acting he has sure made a special place in our hearts, If u read this comment Akki then stick to comedy movies, these roles suits you and U do a brilliant job every single time.Pretty Zinta is very good too...still looking good and her acting is top notch. Anupam Kher is too funny, all the roles is done to perfectness and no role is forced in the movie.Hey Movie Viewers go and watch this movie and fall in love again its never over..:)
