Leonardo's bank robbery doesn't pan out and he ends as a trustee in Ventotene prison in the so nice coastal town. While at an open night, he meets frisky blonde Chiatti who thinks he is a visitor like herself. As they shape up, Leonardo has to invent excuses to be back at the jail before his day pass runs out at midnight.Second half of the film is a lively road trip where the car fills up with Leonardo's comic associates and a dog.Engaging people, attractive scenery, polished colour production values. Pieraccione's comedies are winning. They should get into the English language market.
