Reviews
AniInterview Sorry, this movie sucks
Kailansorac Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de) "Hobo with a Shotgun" is a 2-minute clip from 2007, so has its 10th anniversary this year, and I am sure most of you have heard this title already. And you are correct. This very brief movie we have here is also by Jason Eisener, the man who directed the Rutger Hauer film less than five years later. But if you think that this one here is a trailer for the full feature film, then you are wrong because back in 2007 nobody was thinking of Hauer playing the part later on and he is missing from these 120 seconds while the hobo is played by a lesser known actor named David Brunt who played a smaller character in the 2011 film too. And the Michael Jackson you find here is also not the "real" Michael Jackson. Anyway, there is a lot of action and effects in here, especially for 2 minutes only, but story-wise it's kinda meh and I would not be curious in seeing a full feature film if this here was indeed a trailer. So I give it a thumbs-down and I guess only the biggest HwaS fans should check it out.
