Excellent, a Must See

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

Gandy Goose has an eight-by-ten glossy of the white cat -- she's named Juliet in this cartoon -- and Sour Puss wants an introduction. However, the only place they meet is in Gandy's dreams, so they compete for her affections in this typically funny Terrytoon series entry. The teaming of Gandy and Sour Puss was probably Paul Terry's strongest series. The two characters had clearly delineated characters and the plots were varied enough that you never knew what was going to happen, except that the Goose would do better than the Cat. There was an absurdist feeling to many of the cartoons, and many, like this one, involved extensive dream sequences. While the series had settled into a bit of a rut by this time, the jokes and characters kept it very watchable throughout.
