Even though this was really enjoyable movie. Big minus, we don't see Chen Shen in first 20-30 minutes, but when we see him, its ass kicking through entire movie. First Chen Shen fight is at graveyard, he is visiting his brothers grave and Japanese arrive. Japanese says: "Visiting grave is forbidden by Chinese". Then they attack Shen, but soon found out, it was big mistake. Shen easily beats up 4 Japanese and makes them to bow down to Shen's brother. After that scene, Chen Shen is introduced to Chinese Martial Arts school and every time Japanese attack school, Shen is taking care of them. However 1 scene is at inn and Shen is eating, Japanese arrive and attack Shen, again with no problem Shen beats them up. 2nd time, when Japanese arrive at inn, Shen is in 2nd level and teacher is drinking vine at 1st floor. That small Japanese takes vine bottle and holds it up in air and teacher is trying to drink. When Japanese takes their belts off, Shen has had it and attacks Japanese. In the end Shen holds bottle and small Japanese is trying to drink. Now were close to that scene, when Japanese order Shen to leave Shanghai, Shen does that, but there were Japanese spies in train and they're trying to kill Shen, Shen quickly jumps off train. Japanese goes with swords to Chinese school and kill some people, Shen goes there also and beats them up, then police arrives and says: "Take all wounded men and arrest them". Shen replies: "I killed all of those Japanese, arrest me". Police says: "Ok". Shen replies: "But I need to do a favor, give me 1 day and that small Japanese guy". Police says: "1 day". Now were in end fight and its Chen Shen versus a totally bad ass Japanese guy with Samurai sword. Shen says: "Lets solve this with fists". End fight shows Shen getting beaten up by Japanese guy, but in very end, Shen uses his fingers to fatally wound Japanese Boss. Boss knows, he is defeated, so he commits suicide. End of movie. Besides Bruce Li, there were really popular Chinese actors, including: Lieh Lo, Kun Li and James Nam.

Chinese Connection II is supposed to be a sequel to Chinese Connection (called Fist of Fury in Hong Kong) but Golden Harvest beat them to it with the New Fist of Fury (starring Jackie Chan and most of the cast from the first film). Bruce Li (pronounced LEE) stars as Chen Shen, Zen's brother. Shen is out to avenge his murder and to put the beat down on those evil Japanese. Even if this movie wasn't horribly dubbed and cropped, the end results would have been the same. Bruce Li is no Bruce Lee and this movie shows it.The dubbing is bad and takes away from an already mediocre film. Turns a b-movie (by Hong Kong standards) into a Grade Z picture. Not recommended for solo viewing, but as a party film it's a must view.C

This film has it all for Kung-Fu films. Except for a corny start to the film, CC2 holds Bruce Lee's best acting. A story about a student avenging the murderer of his teacher, Bruce has several famous fight sequences as well as a number of scenes where Bruce portrays different characters.A great "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" ending, this is Bruce's best work!

I bought this Hong Kong film under the title Fist of Fury II for $3.99. Boy did I overpay. First of all I am a Bruce Lee fan and I bought this because I thought it was a sequel to The Chinese Connection (titled Fist of Fury overseas), and when I got home, the movie itself had the name The Fist of Fury? This film has so many A.K.A titles it hurts my head! So is it a sequel to The Chinese Connection or Fists of Fury? I give up. It also hurts my eyes because the movies is so scratchy. You must be a die hard 70's kung fu fan to enjoy this!
