Reviews
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Lela The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
patatefrite Overall the film was enjoyable, but I found it a bit slow, and found that the plot didn't really arrive at a conclusion. Loin is also filmed in the jittery camera style, which since I was sitting close to the screen gave me a head-ache. The love story between Sara and Serge was well portrayed though. It is not a standard love story, which is what provides its strength: Serge has many weaknesses, and the fact that they love each other nonetheless creates a strong psychological/human/emotional situation.
