Images of a machine shredding books are interspersed with archival material from a Maoist life and animated sequences representing the reconstitution of destroyed DDR documents. Lina Selander and Oscar Mangione craft a stark, densely structured essay shot through with a sense of political disillusionment, but rich with secondary associations.
