Reviews
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Philippa All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Jackson Booth-Millard I had always thought the host of Mock the Week was a little upstaged by the brilliant one-liners of regulars Frankie Boyle, Hugh Dennis, Russell Howard and Andy Parsons, so I was looking forward to seeing him on his own. Dara O'Briain plays at the Hammersmith Apollo theatre in London as part of his sell out tour, and I was actually quite impressed, as I had hardly seen him cracking so many good jokes. He mixes his own written material with improvisation for and with the audience, this includes some very funny interaction and maybe a little comeback for hecklers. I am sure he will do another live stand up show, and if he does, I am sure I will be watching it, a good debut from a good comedian. Very good!
