Good story, Not enough for a whole film

It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

DAbanng 2 is a sequel to 2010 blockbuster Dabangg. This was a perfect sequel and story started where the 1st part ended..The story is simple and is fine with the new director..He took comedy, romance ,action side by side without which the movie wont have apealed much. The man to watch is Salman khan Chulbul pandey..who with his fully humorous and real side came out in this movie.the tiwariji, chowbeyji played a significant role and added much needed humour at very situational places.arbaaz khan, sonakshi sinha were all goodd..the movie is entertaining and you will whistles ,dance along with the movie....

This movie faces criticism from people that this is a regular action comedy flick with no storyline but actually the fact is that they are unaware of the fact that this is Spaghetti Western genre. The story revolves around a fearless, humorous, witty Cop Chulbul Pandey(Salman Khan) referred to as Robin Hood by people he is loved by. In this sequel, he is promoted and transferred to Kanpur(a bigger city in the state of Uttar Pradesh) and he continues to be the same or becoming more fearless but is challenged by Baccha Yadav(Prakash Raj) who is the dreaded gangster in the city. Now what people don't know is that the protagonist in a Spaghetti Western suppose to have these witty, humorous and specialization in gun-fu skills. This genre was mostly used by American - Italian director Sergio Leone which made Clint Eastwood what he is today. I think this is a good (if not best) Spaghetti western made in India. If you closely observe the movie you would get the Spaghetti Western reference in this flick. Other Indian movies of same genre include Dabangg and Bullet Raja. While the Prequel was a better version of this genre but this is a good product.

Dabangg was known to being hit in the box office and a great movie. Yet, I would have to say you can't say the same for Dabangg 2. Therefore, Dabangg 2 was an action movie with a bit of comedy. It was really boring though. It didn't have a hook. You knew what was going to happen next so no surprises! I wanted to literally just go to sleep. The songs are pretty average. If you are a Sonakshi Sinha fan you need to know that she hardly has any dialogs. I mean Chulbul Pandey's dad even had more lines! The movie does have a story. A story anyone could predict and a storyline which is pretty boring. Overall if you want to fall asleep go ahead and watch this movie. If you are a Salman Khan fan and just want to see Salman Khan then go ahead and watch this movie. But if you are a smart person then don't waste your time watching such a boring a predictable movie.

when i heard the reviews i thought it'd be as they said 'a typical masala film'...but when i saw it i was confused to count it a movie or a big boring t.v. commercial ad...1)direction:- arbaaz had a chance to prove himself as a director but he completely lost it...his direction looks completely clueless...we can easily say that he was pretty scared to try anytihng new; every song has a same situation as it had in 'DABANGG'...i mean what he did was to just copy from 1st part..story of dabangg-1 was also not good but because of it's direction it became such a huge hit...2)story:- plot of the movie is that there is no plot; I mean seriously how would they carry on a movie without a story..it was a repeated story with no intensity3)screenplay:- for people out there who thinks screenplay is not important in film making, this is what happens if you don't pay attention on screenplay.i started looking at my watch right after the 10 minutes of opening credits.screenplay of this movie is so bad that you lose your interest in the story.. i can Guaranteedly say that it is the worst screenplay of 2012..it looks like a B-grade film after some time..4)performances:-well there is nothing to say about performance when you are watching a salman khan starrer movie.. but i didn't expect this much of a bad performance from 'prakash raj'...every one else did their part in making this movie awful.... i think salman is getting worst day by day in his acting5)music:- as expected all tracks were massy numbers but nothing new..same as dabangg-1,probably worst that dabangg-1...overall this movie was completely a horrible experience... 2012 year was only for small budget films...every other over hyped and big budget film disappointed..
