Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

martaivett Julio Aleman gives his own personal touch to the character of Juan. Angelica Maria was perfect for the Monica role. Plot follows very closely the story as written by Caridad Bravo Adams, up until almost the end of the second book. Movie is only an hour and a half long so it cannot cover the complexities of book 3. Understandably. Good enjoyable movie, whether you have read the books or seen the tv series or not.
