SparkMore n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
eddiewhat-60593 Outstanding job by all the cast. Acting was great, made everything believable. Watched it many times and I don't usually watch a movie more then twice. I think Katy was adorable and brought her Dad and Emory together along with the Mom who could see the connection also. Will save this movie forever.
paulaasd So a little honesty here, my least favorite part of Hallmark Christmas movies is the preachy attitude. That is what separates this movie from the rest. Instead the focus is on the characters who happen to be enjoying Christmas traditions together. The chemistry between the 2 appealing character leads, Emory and Scott is wonderful, and Scott's daughter and mother are also on mark. You just believe and like them, and the amusing dialogue is a step above the usual Hallmark movie. It's just a fun romantic comedy, and I hope Hallmark makes more of these movies in the future.
mcclure-87398 For those looking for the song it is by Darlene Love called Christmas (Baby please come home) You can find it on You Tube, ITunes and probably elsewhere as well.
jingarce I have watched all the Hallmark movies this season and, for me, this is just about the best of all of them. Everything just clicked and felt so right and natural. And the leads had great chemistry just as Emory was looking for.
