Choices II: The Setup Trailers

Three 6 Mafia's followup to the highly successful street movie Choices 1. After a heist goes wrong for two Memphis hustlers (DJ Paul and Juicy), they find themselves behind bars. Two crooked DEA agents offer freedom on the condition that they do a job for them. Juicy and Paul are forced to make a choice: stay locked up or get caught up. Set against the gritty backdrop of Memphis this film takes Juicy and Paul from the gutter to ballin' and back again.

Reviews
Manthast Absolutely amazing
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Married Baby Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?
bless1 This sequel was certainly not better than the first one. The acting was off key and the story line dragged a little. It was more humorous than the first though. It just looked to low budget. The first one looked and sounded a lot better. The first one's story line had a meaning to it, therefore out came the name of the movie. While the second one takes away from the whole meaning of the name of the movie. DJ Paul and Juicy J are always fun to watch because they are so funny. That would be the ony good thing about this movie. They can't act too well but it's just pure Three Six Mafia limbo throughout the movie. DJ Paul quotes in the movie "Im as nervous as a catfish at a fish fry".
reverendtom I love Three Six, and the whole Hypnotized Minds camp, but this movie is horrendous. The only guys from the camp that are even in it are Paul and Juicy! Where's Crunchy, Lil Whyte, etc. I don't know. This movie is incredibly boring and extremely low budget. I guess I expected more because their music is so good that they would have some film-making talent. Apparently not. This is about as good as any of those wack No Limit films or State Property. Attention Rappers: If you're gonna make movies, get some money behind it, a good director and a good script. Hell, I think a two hour DVD of just behind the scenes with Three Six on tour and in the studio would be way more entertaining than this garbage.
sambo5180 Choices 2: The Setup continues the storyline from the first movie, placing DJ Paul and Juicy J as the main characters. Whether or not this was a mistake is up to the viewer. Anyway, the story goes something like this: Paul and J are crooks that get ratted out by a friend and are put to a task by corrupt feds in the hopes of scoring a bust for their own personal gain. As our "heroes" climb the criminal ladder of success, they slowly work a scheme to get the feds back for putting the in that position in the first place. The idea to bring the characters back after the ending of the first film was inventive, but with little action, no evolving plot and even worse acting from the supporting cast, what we are left with is some nice cinematography and laughable character development.Being a fan of Hypnotize Minds, I was disappointed with this film. For those that don't know about the Memphis recording label the cult following it carries, this will probably leave many in the wind as to why this film was made at all. The first Choices was a story of struggle and fighting for what you believe in. The acting was so-so, but at least the script offered more than the usual rapper movies. This film is just another downer for ghetto cinema, offering nothing that appeals to the average Joe, or even the "brothers" that reside in American ghettos. Paul and J really don't act but carry on conversations between themselves for the duration of the film. Furthermore, the base storyline and the fact that you have to buy this movie with the soundtrack (which is the worst release I've ever heard from Three 6 Mafia)will leave those that purchased this to wonder what gave HCP the idea to market this at all. Hopefully the new Choices movie, which will feature my favorite HCP artist Project Pat, will go further than this. In short, stay away from this sequel, enjoy the first and keep supporting the Hypnotize Camp Posse
JodyJoe And as a matter of a fact, its way better than the first. Paul and Juice been doing it up in Memphis for years from what I hear. So they don't get the kind of exposure like people do up here. "Chc2" is probably on of the best rapper based movies out there. To me, it better than both state properties, any Master P movie, etc. Most people don't like these kind of movies but who cares no one is trying to change your minds. But for those who do, check it out, its straight. It even has the best white rapper out there in this movie(Lil Wyte). If he hooked up with someone that can get him into the mainstream audience, he'd overshadow Eminem. Yeah, hes that bumpin'.
