ReaderKenka Let's be realistic.
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Yash Wade Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
kbspr1 As a non-hip hop aficionado, I still found this a compelling film. I watch these types of documentaries to help me understand the music and look for the meaning behind the words. This film gives insight into the New York Police Department and how they targeted or profiled rappers. I think it was initial to be of help in compromising situations, but ultimately became something more negative. What do the cops really think and feel about that world? What ever they "say," actions speak louder than words. Look inside their binder at all the faces and names we hear about on the radio and TV, and hear what the NYPD doesn't want you to know. You can't get anymore real than this.
