Reviews
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Hayden Kane There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Aubrey Hackett While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Jonah Abbott There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
Desertman84 Bagets made a lot of money and it made big stars of J.C. Bonnin,Herbert Bautista and Aga Muhlach.A follow up was made and Bagets 2 was it. The premise of this Bagets film was extremely ordinary. It is a story of seven instead of five teenage youngsters in Bagets 2 (although William Martinez is already past his teenage years) who are experiencing problems and ways to cope up with it.Sadly, while Bagets became an 80's classic despite it many cinematic flaws, its sequel was simply forgotten. Was it because Aga Muhlach was not present in the movie? Or was it because the same predictable story lines in first was used.I think both reasons were true. Just like in the first film, the movie became very popular when it was released due to the popularity of the first film and how the viewers were excited to see the most of the stars reprise their roles in it.Also,it made instant stars of the additional cast namely: the late Francis Magalona, who was later known as Francis M; Ramon Christopher; and the late Jon Hernandez.
