Reviews
Solemplex To me, this movie is perfection.
Borgarkeri A bit overrated, but still an amazing film
Kailansorac Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Aswath This movie tells about a tale of a school going boy and a girl with interesting twists and an unexpected climax. This is Director Jeeva Shankar's second movie after a successful thriller movie " Naan ". Jeeva has been excellent in selecting the crew for this movie. All the important roles in this movie have done good job especially the lead characters played by Sathya & Mia George have done a justification to their roles.Since it is a love story and it expects a beautiful music to support it and it was happened. Music was composed by Ghbiran which played a vital role in this movie. Especially " Mounam Paesum " song was very nice. Also the screenplay and cinematography work was very good which will not feel you bored.
mohan-mtp Fantastic love story after a long time in Kollywoood. Felt the real feel of love in this film from start to end.Hats of to this team. Ghibran music is excellent and a perfect match for this movie. His background music really drives us throughout the film. A very talented musician who made me to feel the love in this movie from start to end. Sathya & Mia performance was excellent and they are perfect match for this film and character. Both acted promisingly. Totally a highly satisfied film after a long time. Jeeva Shankar made this movie unforgettable for long time. My sincere thanks to him and expecting more films like the same.
mrriyaskhan This movie is a visual treat. Excellent cinematography done by Jeeva shankar. He proved once again with this movie. It is a Romantic- thriller. And must watch movie in theater. Different climax. Brave attempt. Gibran background score and songs are awesome. Unfortunately the movies did not go well in theater. A good movie chosen for Arya production company. Hero and heroine acting are excellent. The first half is sluggish, thanks to how uninspired the love scenes between the lead pair are. They try to outdo each other in saying 'I love you', and while it's understandable that young love is full of such adorable banalities, their frivolous romance doesn't ever translate to cuteness on screen, or make you feel nostalgic about puppy love. While the second half is lively, the film, despite promising to, doesn't ever provide you with the memorable thrills.
Akshay Nair Amara Kaaviyam stars Sathya and Mia George, along with a team of fresh and good actors. The film revolves around a love story in the 80's. The film proceeds with what the director exactly wants to convey to the viewers in a laudable way. The feel of true love between the leading pair is in it's own league, and is enhanced by the excellent background score and also songs. For a Tamil film, the direction might not be familiar to the viewers as it is a real discovery. The viewers will have to follow the film in detail, and this is possible with the heartfelt and emotional flow. Before watching the film, I recommend the viewers to open up, and make an attempt to learn something new, because you will definitely not be disappointed with what you find in the end. This film is a definite must-watch for people who love to see the portrayal of different emotions on screen. Amara Kaaviyam deserves a watch by everyone. Bravo to the team!
