Reviews
Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Salubfoto It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
Brennan Camacho Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
Taha Avalos The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
Don Reasons This was great for documenting these very interesting musical brothers. Two of the three died within four years after the release of the film, the end of an era. Lots of unique music and wonderful stories of a musical group that was at one time the toast of their specific community in NYC. My only complaint is the movie is in black and white. I don't see the point. Color would have added so much more to the picture. The music is historic, but they are not recreating the olden days. All the scenes are contemporary. So just film it in color, nothing lost!!!It is certainly worth seeing for the musical value and the historical extra value.
