Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
Grimossfer Clever and entertaining enough to recommend even to members of the 1%
Roxie The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
sa_per My favorite film, when I was boy :) Excellent actor's play, funny episodes and jokes, great music and songs. All this makes the film an outstanding example of soviet art for a child. What really thrill me, was episode, when sleeping boy (in his own dream) decided to sleep!! (hello to Karlos Kastaneda :)) All adult actors are perfect, and all child actors are excellent! Plot is quite unusual - evil cards tries to conquer chess court using dirty (but very fanny) tricks. They want to kill chess Prince, and they are almost succefull. But appearing of soviet boy spoils all cards magic, and frees Chess country. And of course, there are chases, magic, adventures, and real friendship which wins. If I'd get to this dream, I'd never wake up :)
