I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

Vladimir Vysotsky appears as an American serviceman who happens to be on the transatlantic flight from Russia to America. A young Russian actor, in this movie Vysotsky played his first big part. He made a memorable appearance and demonstrated nice acting in several scenes. His range and nuanced acting is so apparently vivid during the scene when he is in a romantic mood after a drink, and starts hitting on the cute lady who is sitting next to him on the plane. Suddenly the plane begins to fall down. So Vysotsky's character instantly becomes a serviceman in the line of duty. His courage shines when the plane goes down and he brakes into the pilot's cabin while making a brave effort to save the jet. His effort was a success, and all people on board were saved.
