filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
unnar-1 Okay so the movie isn't your run of the mill, Hollywood masterpiece...but it's wildly entertaining! If you're into Hong Kong films this one won't leave you in the dust...It's great. Sure, it was most likely made for kids but that takes nothing away from it. I watched it over and over again when I was a kid...and as soon as I get my DVD copy in the mail...I'm going to watch it again and again and again and again. At the beginning of the movie, the kids are rushing to the airport to pick up a friend of theirs from America. This scene was actually one of my favorites because every character got his proper introduction just from that one scene. You actually feel like you know every character. And the action happens right away...there are no boring scenes throughout the entire film. Outstanding...that's my vote.
clayzar This is a fun family film to watch. I see a lot of people slamming it on the net but you need to take it for what it is.......a fun 80's kungfu film with kids. The fight scenes are well choreographed and the acting is well above par for this sort of film. The story is a tad weak but that was okay because I wasn't expecting it to be the caliber of Gone With The Wind. Each kid has a unique fighting specialty and I was very surprised at the level of skill they displayed during the fights. The film was obviously shot in China but its nicely dubbed to English for an easy watch. The music has a strong 80's vibe that gives the film a somewhat campy presence but that is a good quality when you consider the era. I consider 7 Lucky Ninja Kids a winner.
sweetsugarrai there isn't much use in watching this movie unless you obviously are very bored with nothing to do..at all. there is no basic plot...i only laughed in one scene where the guy is a girl. but that's pretty much it. the sound effects...the fight scenes...everything...
mister_popo01 If you've ever said to yourself, "Gee, I've always wanted a Hong-Kong-produced kung-fu flick with untalented actors, illegally-used music tracks, and poor dubbing", then this film is for you. Beginning with an opening song or sorts, which seems to be based on the Madonna's hit song "Like a Virgin", accompanied by a montage of ninja kid fighting scenes. But wait! this video gets even worse. The voice-over actors sound like rejects from a Saturday-morning cartoon, and the plot is about as deep and as an average episode of "Full House". Suitable only for MST3k-style viewing.
