terrible... so disappointed.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

The list of things wrong with this film is enormous & u should DEFINITELY SEE IT!!! I'm usually merciless on defective films but not this one. Despite amateurish production, hokey parts, frequent poor acting & comic-book editing, u can still see the (almost obscured by 3- Stoogery) creative, unique & interesting plot.Ciminera's take on the mechanics of the afterlife, demons (who look like ninjas), angels (who look like orderlies) and library books that check u out, all come together in a unique view of what's waiting for us. Even the hokey time limits in the non-living realm hint at the uniqueness of what otherwise could really be a far better film.Personally, I don't believe they really spent $5k making this movie (more like $250), but I don't really care (u won't either). Somebody MUST give Mr. Ciminera proper funding & professional personnel for the remake of this & his next couple of films. This guy has lots of heart, lots of uniqueness & lots of potential. He's a 1-of-a-kind, impoverished, culturally low rent mix of Rod Serling, the Pope & a Philly Cheese Steak....BUT WITH LOTS OF POTENTIAL!!! Watch him!!!

Wow, what can I say? The acting was not only terrible, but the actors kept forgetting their lines, or stumbling through them making corrections as they went along. I was dumb struck with the lack of period costumes/clothes. It was set in 1860's but you had all kinds of dresses, except the actual hoop skirt dresses of the time. (I seen only one) I seen hair styles, short sleek, modern cuts, other than a few kids with braids or an adult with waist long hair, none of them had the braid, ringlets, and buns worn in the 1800,s. They wore hats from the 1700's, as well as modern style hats. Not the style of bonnets or hair attire worn in the 1800's. I especially loved the sleeping caps worn in church and during the day in public with their short hair sticking out of it. When I seen a guy walking with knicker style pants like worn in the 1600's I burst out laughing. You may be working on a short budget, but come on. Actors need to remember their lines and not say ummmm so much. I just could not get past the mixed period clothes everyone wore. I guess you just needed a long dress to play a part. If it was a modern straight maxi dress from the local clothing store it was OK. I can get past a little period inconsistencies, but this was a constant. I hung on for the first 1/2 hour hoping for any type of improvement in the movie before finally turning it off in disgust.Waste of money and my time.

As usual, Ciminera hasn't skimped on the delivering on another low budget success. Here comes another story of good and evil. BUT with a twist, there is only 6 minutes to stay in a certain part of hell otherwise your stuck there. Both the original key art and new commissioned "Death Look" art help it sell. I come to realize that this guys thinking is a bit warp sand is perfect for horror films. It's the stories that get you, in which guns and knives make up an American flag but not all gore tells the stories with his movies. The poster advertising can been seen major cities, however, is a much different story. I've yet to see that poster in the mid west – This movie ranked average in acting talent but big in story. I always rank for story only. My rank is a 10

Haunting, sorrowful and at times eerie. Above all, 6 minutes is a remarkably mature and thought-provoking look at the mysterious nature of death and the complexity of the grieving process and after life. A flawed, but still bracingly horrific film of ideas, one that maintains with substantial impact. Though the director Joe Ciminera is known for producing some of the top cooking shows on TV he is quickly making himself known for horror. The acting here isn't the greatest but I get it. Period pieces made on a 5k budget won't produce the best costumes but they get their point across. 6 minutes of death is a very good horror film and believe it or not somebody can make a good horror film out of a5k budget. Some actors do a great job with this film and manages to bring across the creepy story pretty well. Most people may avoid this, but they should check it out. This film is surprisingly good if you stick through it 15 min in Gailey
