Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Jai Mishra (jaimishra) I just watched it. And I am speechless. Its the best sci-fi movie I have seen since Intersteller.The main driver of the film is the Story of the film and the director has done an amazingly perfect work on the story. Next is the Hero/Villain of the movie - Suriya. I have been a fan of Suriya after I watched his movie Masss. Suriya is an amazing actor. Since he is playing 3 different roles in the movie, a person watching the movie just forget it and feels like those 3 are all together different persons. I think thats make him an outstanding actor.About the movie. The movie is gripping from its first scene only. You cannot skip a single scene. I didn't understand the songs of the movie because I am not South Indian but believe me they are all sounds really good as the composer is AR Rahman. The man has given an amazing score to the film. During the movie there are so many twists and turns that you cannot predict and explains the quality of the movie. I will not say about the ending of the movie, you just have to watch the movie for it.MY RATING - 10 STARS Go and watch it. Don't Skip it at any cost. This is the best Sci-fi Movie India has ever produced.

abhiramreddy48 Okay honestly this movie stands out against other recent movies this year in India. Made very few errors regarding the time lines shown in the movie. The graphics aren't great but the aren't really bad. Personally the movie was a half hour too long for me, the producers and director could have cut down on few songs and spent the budget on graphics and sets. The plot is really good, some scenes in the movie stand out. I could spot few major plot holes in the movie. The ending was very cheesy and pedophilic in a way. The acting of the lead cast was exceptional, especially Suriya. Suriya plays the three characters with a lot of variation. The direction and screen play was really good. Director Vikram Kumar is a director with many quality movies under his belt, his movies differ from one other, his movies contain very few commercial elements in them and focus mainly on a story. Well the same goes for this movie. Overall this is a unique movie and is entertaining.

Anup Viswanathan Thampi The movie has been scraped off bits by bits from several movies like Edge of tomorrow,Groundhog day etc which all says about time continuum. The movie is so far the best one and liked movie of Surya after several years to be exact after Vaaranam Aayiram(2008),he is a top notch actor who got carried away with same pattern of wig change/styles and no story just action and exceptionally over claimed hype. He has got this one right by adding in special effects and story line only 1 thing 1 don't understand, why is surya so obsessed with dual or tri characters? Take movies you will see twins,father-son etc charactersall played by surya. He needs to change it too which is becoming a stereotyping for a such fine actor like himself. The best things in the movie that I liked are: 1.Time travel portrayed in good manner 2.Gadgets animation works good(cradle,box,watch,stopped rain etc) 3.Villain character worked charm 4.Lullaby is a masterpiece 5.No heroic entrance to get all claps and all 6.Best selfie sequence with MS DhoniI am giving only 7 because they could have eliminated goofs and negatives which could have been eliminated to make this a masterpiece movieI found certain negative in the movie and that's why 1.Unnecessary song sequence when they are in love and her seeing him among all the people,this number has been played several times in Indian movies and 1st song.2.Same stereotyped thing:where the girl who he loves is in same village as his mother and even same family 3.Elimination of 26 years of coma,that too seen in many movies3.Cliche Goofs that I found: 1. When Athreya goes down the stairs and he rewinds the watch everything comes back to normal, except for the fact Mani didn't know what happened next moment. If you recall the one who wears the watch will definitely know what happened 2. The wire with electricity that powered the watch in the last sequence was there for around 15-20 minutes while all the things happened and it still had power???? WTH someone should have changed that to something else. Anyway what has been done can't be modified hope to see such quality movies from Surya. I had been fan of his until I saw Ayan after which it took 8 long years to see the Surya who has the potential to pull me back in the chair.

lk-kishore6 This film is essentially a commercial movie, nevertheless it has been made with such care that it will also please those who are interested in watching only those movies of high quality.The movie has handled the time travel genre in a different manner unlike other movies. There is a small difference which the Director Vikram has conveniently chosen to ignore.The performance of Suryah in the antagonist role is definitely something that requires a special mention. He has really put a great amount of efforts in ensuring the output of that character is good.There are many "WOW" moments in the movie during the first half of the movie when the protagonist finds out that he has the power to travel in time. The song that comes subsequently in celebration of his control over time has also been extremely well made. A.R.Rahman's music as always does its job brilliantly.The showdown during the climax is thrilling one and is very fast moving and keeps you on the edge of the seat.Verdict - Watch it already. Enough said.
