Jini-B I revisited this film recently and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The film opens with a therapy session attended by the hero of the film, Krish. Arjun Kapoor actually fits the role very well and it is one of the only times that Arjun seems comfortable in a film. There are some very funny moments and his deadpan expression at the face of some uncomfortable moments were hilarious! Alia Bhatt portrays the character of Ananya, a classmate of Krish's and the movie quickly delves into the backstory of how the lead pair met.The chemistry between Alia and Arjun was crackling and they looked very much in love, doing full justice to their characters. The first quarter of the film and their life in college seemed very fresh. Later, when their families meet, there are some very awkward moments that made me laugh.As Krish and Ananya try to convince their family to allow them to get married, there are many bumps along the way, and the movie was able to show the problems in a very realistic manner.The music and the acting were highlights in the movie. The songs are catchy and have moderate recall value. The supporting cast were very good and added some good acting chops to the whole production.Overall, a good, light movie that leaves the viewer happy.

vivansainger Here come the movie with one from Chetan Bhgat's ink. I am bit confused whether to write the review of "2 states" the book or the movie. Both are look like identical twins to father Chetan Bhagat. Simplicity of Chetan's writing is shown in this movie. I consider it is a real story and very close to perfection. Arjun kapoor played Chetan is doing partial justice to the role,not complete because his copper hard hair not look like chetan's. Also Alia look as she was confident,smart but in some scenes she looks over confident. Watch her dialogs during canteen mess. There is also some flaws in story like AK is not able to buy car it shows how badly his employer Yes Bank pays,also size of cubicles of Yes bank is look like lower grade company. And count more a Economcs university toper needs tuition from an IIT chap. But chennai displayed in movie is good.Useless dialog of movie is Beer is banned in Gujarat because Gandhiji born in Gujarat and he is against alcohol.I mean come on writers plz do not treat us dumb. Even nursery class student will not excited on this dialog.In total one time watch movie either on big screen or Ur home screen. Watch if you like Chetan Bhagat and his writing.Thanks

efetrkmn why is Indian's people's dancing at every movies ? when they start dance i just like; 'okay i don't have to see it, shut the movie!' because when they start that dance every things just going missing, nothing prof with it. So i think we wont see funny dances in movies any way in love movies. why is my vote 4? my vote is four only for scenario, acting is normal not a big deal with acting in this movie, scenario original good i like scenario but dances destroyed it but its other point :Dabout acting the girl acting is normal as the boy do, you cant see great acting in this movie, only the boys dad is better i like him, he is good actor.i must talk more about dances in Indian's movies; they must stop it nothing good with it, i think its about be prof i hope one day they will leave the dances in movies, because thats is not musical movies its love! thats it, enjoy with movie.
