1957 Hati Malaya Trailers

Four young Malaysians, Salmi, Razak, Ani and Angee have been assigned to do a picture book of ‘1957’. While two of them grudgingly carry out the request made by the publisher, Zahari, one of them takes on the role enthusiastically. Along the way, they find themselves immersed in the characters, emotional moments, identifying with and finding meaning in the struggle of ‘1957’. They weave the story of independence by transporting themselves back to the past. Ordinary Malaysians who fell in love, and found their love for the country override their personal emotions. The present characters find new meaning to ‘Merdeka’

Reviews
MamaGravity good back-story, and good acting
Contentar Best movie of this year hands down!
Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Usamah Harvey The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
iniemaili a movie about Malaysia's independence. this is a great movie for all Malaysians and Singaporeans to see. it shows our leader Dato Onn Jaafar and Tunku Abdul Rahman, fighting for Malaysia's peace and independence from British. although, the acting is quite lame, its story line is good. this movie has the spirits that would carry the viewers all the way through. the cinematography is also not of highest level but it is still good accounting for the budget. the story could have been better if it adds a narration so that viewers can fully understand the story line. Shuhaimi gives a great effort in doing this. it is sad that this movie doesn't do very well in box office. hopefully more films like this would be produced. Merdeka.
